The United States has announced the resumption of its maritime blockade against Iran, preventing any vessels from entering or leaving Iranian ports. The US will charge a 20% fee for ensuring the safe passage of cargo ships, but the details of this initiative remain unclear. Due to legal requirements, shipowners must be notified 24 hours in advance, so the new blockade has not yet taken effect. A US official stated that the Central Command of the US military will announce the specific timing later on Monday.
