Prosecutor Demands Termination of Grand Cafe Leopolis Lease
The prosecutor's office has filed a lawsuit demanding the termination of the lease agreement for the premises in the Lviv City Hall, where Grand Cafe Leopolis operates. The !Fest emotions holding considers these claims unreasonable and reports mass inspections of its establishments. Prosecutors are demanding the termination of lease and sublease agreements, as well as the eviction of non-residential premises on the first floor of the building. The property is a monument of architecture, which imposes strict requirements for its preservation. Prosecutors identified violations, including the lack of permission from the Ministry of Culture for the lease and unauthorized renovations. Grand Cafe Leopolis opened in April 2019. The rent is 895.6 thousand UAH per month, exceeding 10 million UAH per year. The holding has not received any remarks from the authorities regarding the lease or space planning.
