Musk Allegedly Misled by Hacked Account, SLINK Token Market Cap Plummets to Zero
On September 5, Elon Musk allegedly mistakenly replied to a hacked X account @shivon, which had previously posted about the SLINK project. Musk's reply sparked speculation in the market about his support for the project, causing the SLINK token's market cap to briefly exceed $40 million before crashing to zero. The @shivon account has since deleted the related posts, and it is suspected to have been hacked. Trader Aurelius0121, having seen Musk's interaction with the @shivon account, mistakenly believed Musk supported the project and purchased approximately $250,000 worth of SLINK tokens, only to see the token's price plummet to zero, resulting in a total loss of funds. Shivon Zilis is a Canadian tech executive and venture capitalist, currently serving as the Director of Operations and Special Projects at Musk's Neuralink, and is also the mother of several of Musk's children.
