Futurist Names 5 Reasons for SpaceX's Potential to Become the First $10 Trillion Company

Peter Diamandis explained why SpaceX could become the first company worth $10 trillion. He provided five arguments to support his position. In particular, he discussed various business directions, such as Starlink, AI computing, in-house chip manufacturing, and more.

Entrepreneur, founder of the XPRIZE technology innovation fund, modern futurist, and early investor in SpaceX, Peter Diamandis, published an extensive investment thesis stating that Elon Musk's space company could become the world's first with a market capitalization of $10 trillion.

His comments came ahead of the company's first financial report after its IPO and contain arguments in favor of Musk's long-term business growth. According to Diamandis, the market undervalues SpaceX.

SpaceX is More Than Just Rockets

The author highlighted five key areas that he believes shape the real value of SpaceX:

• Starlink;
• AI computing;
• in-house chip manufacturing;
• space launches;
• vertical integration of the ecosystem.

In his view, Starlink has already become one of the fastest-growing telecommunications networks in the world:

In the author's opinion, launch services remain the foundation of the company's business. He pointed out that the cost of delivering one kilogram of cargo to orbit has decreased from about $54,000 during the Space Shuttle era to $2,500 thanks to Falcon 9, while Starship is expected to reduce this figure to below $100 per kilogram in the future.

Diamandis identified vertical integration as a key advantage of SpaceX:

It is worth noting that optimistic estimates emerged after SpaceX conducted the largest IPO in Wall Street history. As a result, the market capitalization decreased by more than $1 trillion from its historical peak, and short sellers, according to analysts, earned about $4 billion from the decline in quotes.
