The EIA's Short-Term Energy Outlook report indicates that the forecast for WTI crude oil prices in 2026 has been lowered to $76.26 per barrel, down from the previous estimate of $88.32 per barrel. For 2027, the WTI crude oil price forecast is $60.76 per barrel, lower than the earlier estimate of $74.39 per barrel. Regarding Brent crude oil, the price forecast for 2026 is $81.91 per barrel, a decrease from the previous $95.39 per barrel; for 2027, the Brent price forecast is $64.76 per barrel, down from the earlier $79.39 per barrel.
