Russian President's special representative Dmitry Kozak is currently visiting the United States, engaging with U.S. officials. He recently stated that all parties are "very close" to reaching a diplomatic solution to the Ukraine issue.

On the 25th, Trump flew to Asia on Air Force One, with a stopover in Doha, the capital of Qatar. While in Doha, he told the media regarding the meeting with Putin: "I have to know that we will reach an agreement. I will not waste time." (Forex Live)
