In January-June 2026, Ukrainian banks reported a net profit of UAH 54.07 billion, which is 32% less than in the same period of 2025. PrivatBank earned UAH 24.56 billion, down 29.6%, accounting for 45.4% of the total profit of the banking system. Universal Bank ranked second with a profit of UAH 3.85 billion, increasing its result by 36.3% year-on-year. Raiffeisen Bank came in third with a profit of UAH 3.57 billion, which is 24.7% less than last year. Sberbank dropped to fourth place with a profit of UAH 3.38 billion, decreasing by 2.9 times. PUMB earned UAH 3.12 billion, down 12.5%. The top ten most profitable included Ukreximbank (UAH 2.24 billion, a decline of 46.9%), OTP Bank (UAH 1.91 billion, down 26.8%), Ukrsibbank (UAH 1.85 billion, down 30.3%), Citibank (UAH 1.68 billion, down 18.9%), and Credit Agricole Bank (UAH 1.53 billion, down 39.3%). Out of 59 banks, 11 ended the half-year with losses, the largest of which was recorded by Bank 'Alliance' at UAH 69.79 million.
