In an interview with Punchbowl News, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Texas's opposition to building data centers is a mistake. He pointed out that other communities are eager to construct data centers, which would bring in significant financial inflows. He believes that the architectural design of data centers is outstanding and emphasized their importance to the economy. He warned that if Texas rejects data centers, it would be a mistake, as data centers could be more important than oil.
