Sui Hackathon Receives 747 Projects from 58 Countries

The global hackathon for the Sui ecosystem, "Sui Overflow 2026," has received 747 projects from 58 countries, with a final selection of 26 teams chosen as winners. The winners consist of 16 teams across four tracks: Agentic Web, DeFi & Payments, Wallets, and DeepBook, along with 10 teams for the Student Award. This event serves as a development competition where developers experiment with application areas within the Sui ecosystem, with award categories divided into automated web services, payments and decentralized finance, storage, and order book. The Agentic Web track focuses on the integration of software agents and web services, while the DeFi & Payments track includes blockchain-based financial transactions and payment applications. The Wallets track addresses development topics related to storage, and the DeepBook track evaluates themes connected to order book-based trading infrastructure. A total of 10 teams were selected for the Student Award, bringing the overall number of winning teams to 26. Sui is a Layer 1 blockchain based on the Move language, emphasizing the expansion of application layers for payments, data storage, order books, and AI agent infrastructure.
