Six Major Tech Companies Issue Record $182 Billion Investment-Grade Bonds

Since 2026, Amazon, Alphabet, Nvidia, Meta, Oracle, and SpaceX have issued a record $182 billion in investment-grade bonds, a 1300% increase compared to approximately $13 billion during the same period in 2025. These six companies account for nearly 15% of the total corporate bond issuance in the U.S. this year and contributed to over 50% of the growth in corporate bond issuance this year. During the same period, the U.S. market saw a record seven transactions of bonds worth $25 billion or more, six of which came from the aforementioned six companies, with the remaining one from Salesforce. The demand for AI capital is reshaping the corporate bond market.
