According to PolyBeats Monitoring, in the prediction market Polymarket, over the past five hours, a new address has bet $2k on "US-Iran April Will Not Ceasefire", with an opening price of 54¢ and a current price of 54.5¢.
During a phone interview yesterday, Trump stated that the decision to end military action against Iran would be made "jointly" by him and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu. Trump emphasized that he would retain ultimate decision-making power, but Netanyahu's opinion would be crucial in the decision-making process, noting that the two have been in communication.
In an interview, Iranian Foreign Minister Zarif clearly stated that Iran currently has no reason to engage in ceasefire negotiations with the United States nor has it made any ceasefire requests. Zarif further pointed out that Iran has been attacked multiple times during negotiations in the past, leading to a lack of trust in any negotiations with the United States.
