Morgan Stanley Strategist Says U.S. Stock Market Correction Nearing End, S&P Year-End Target at 8000

Morgan Stanley's Chief U.S. Equity Strategist Mike Wilson stated that the recent phenomenon of "strong earnings but falling stock prices" in technology stocks is primarily due to the market having already priced in AI growth expectations, leading to a valuation pullback. He believes that the adjustments in the cloud, semiconductor, and storage sectors have been substantial, and the current market may be nearing the end of this round of correction. Although short-term fluctuations will continue to be influenced by the Federal Reserve and geopolitical situations, Wilson remains optimistic about the overall performance of the U.S. stock market for the year and reiterates his year-end target of 8000 points for the S&P 500.
