MEI Pharma Increases LTC Holdings with an Average Price of $107.58 to 929,548 Coins
BlockBeats News, August 5th, MEI Pharma, Inc. (NASDAQ: MEIP) today announced that it has purchased 929,548 Litecoins (LTC) at an average price of $107.58 per coin, successfully initiating a significant institutional treasury strategy.
As of August 4, 2025, the total value of this LTC treasury is approximately $110.4 million. MEI has also become the first U.S. public company to hold Litecoin as a primary reserve asset, launching a new strategy based on digital asset infrastructure and long-term capital innovation.
This strategic move was developed in collaboration between MEI and GSR and was executed under the guidance of Litecoin founder and MEI board member, Charlie Lee. This marks the beginning of MEI's larger-scale institutional treasury plan, aimed at leveraging Litecoin's scalability and reliability as a long-term store of value and operating capital asset.
