SoftBank Seeks $10 Billion Loan for OpenAI Investment
SoftBank Group is seeking a $10 billion loan to help refinance the debt incurred from its investment in OpenAI. This loan is part of a series of debt financing activities that SoftBank has recently undertaken regarding its investment in OpenAI, which includes a potential bond issuance of up to $20 billion. Proceeds from the loan may be partially used to repay a $40 billion bridge loan obtained earlier this year for the investment in OpenAI.
