Kyiv City Council Approves Capitalization of 'Kyivgorstroy' for 3 Billion UAH
The Kyiv City Council, during a meeting on September 3, decided to capitalize the Public Joint Stock Company 'Holding Company 'Kyivgorstroy' with an amount of up to 3 billion UAH. This decision was supported by 67 deputies. The document provides for a supplementary share issue while maintaining the share of the territorial community of Kyiv, which owns 99.87% of the holding's shares. The amount was determined in accordance with the company's financial plan for 2026-2028, and the corresponding funds will be allocated in the city budget for 2027. The acting chairman of the company's board, Yuriy Tikhonovych, noted that the new capitalization will ensure the continuity of construction processes in 2027-2028, reduce social tension, and allow the transfer of apartments to thousands of investor families, including military personnel and war veterans. Currently, the company is constructing 24 residential complexes at various stages of readiness. Earlier, the Kyiv City Council registered a project for the capitalization of 'Kyivgorstroy' to stabilize the financial condition of the developer and resume work at halted construction sites.
