Korean Pension Funds Turn to Net Buyers of KOSPI for the First Time, Heavily Invest in SK Hynix

Data from the Korea Exchange shows that the National Pension Service and other pension funds have turned to net buyers in the Korean stock market for the first time this month. As of July 24, pension funds have accumulated a net purchase of 68.4 billion won (approximately 46.8 million USD) in KOSPI index constituent stocks since July. This marks the first month of net buying for pension funds this year after six consecutive months of net selling. SK Hynix has been the most purchased stock by pension funds since July, with a net buying amount reaching 425.8 billion won.
