Hyperliquid (HYPE) spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded net inflows of 2.84 million dollars for the week ending August 7, following three consecutive weeks of redemptions totaling 30.6 million dollars. Cumulative net inflows now amount to 280.8 million dollars. HYPE ETFs, launched in mid-May, experienced a decline in momentum last month, with the largest outflow of 14.7 million dollars occurring in the week ending July 31. JPMorgan strategist Nikolaos Panigirtzoglou attributed the slowdown to increased competition. HYPE's price fell from the low 60s in late July to around 55 dollars by early August, currently trading near 54.75 dollars, down approximately 3% for the day and 29% below its record of 76.87 dollars on June 16. The rebound in HYPE coincided with a broader recovery in crypto ETFs, which saw combined weekly inflows nearing 1.1 billion dollars for the week ending August 7. Bitcoin (BTC) ETFs led with inflows of 853.5 million dollars, reversing a previous outflow of 61.5 million dollars. Ethereum (ETH) funds added 244.9 million dollars, marking their strongest week since mid-April. In contrast, smaller altcoin products saw reduced interest, with Solana (SOL) ETFs attracting only 145,000 dollars, down from 7.2 million dollars two weeks prior.
