Galaxy has completed a transaction for the sale of 80,000 Bitcoins, with a market value exceeding 9 billion US dollars.
BlockBeats News, July 26th, Galaxy Digital Inc., a global leader in digital assets and data center infrastructure, today announced that it has successfully facilitated one of the largest nominal value Bitcoin transactions in cryptocurrency history on behalf of a client.
Galaxy completed the sale transaction of over 80,000 bitcoins for a "Satoshi-era" early investor, with a total value exceeding $9 billion at current market prices. This transaction represents one of the earliest and most significant exits in the digital asset market, forming part of the broader legacy planning strategy for this investor.
