Galaxy Acquires 500 Acres of Land in Texas to Build Data Center

Galaxy has acquired approximately 500 acres of land in McGregor, Texas, with plans to construct artificial intelligence and high-performance computing data centers in the area. The company is advancing the construction of the necessary power infrastructure for the park and has reached a preliminary agreement with the utility company to support the construction of the required interconnection facilities. The first phase of development is expected to have an installed capacity of 74 megawatts, and Galaxy plans to coordinate with the utility company to support the development project exceeding the 75 megawatt heavy load threshold set by ERCOT. The first phase of the park is expected to begin supplying power in 2028, with plans to gradually expand operations, depending on the completion of various development milestones. Galaxy anticipates that with the subsequent construction of transmission infrastructure by the utility company, the McGregor park is expected to develop into a facility with hundreds of megawatts of installed capacity by 2030.
