Four men charged with kidnapping in Ploudalmézeau

On April 20, a family was found tied up in their home in Ploudalmézeau (Finistère) after an intrusion by criminals targeting the father's cryptocurrencies. Five months later, the Rennes prosecutor's office announced the indictment of four suspects, two of whom are in custody. The gendarmes arrested the suspects on September 7 and 8 in Bandol, Paris, and Sevran. Aged between 18 and 37, all are French and have criminal records. Two of them are charged with armed robbery in an organized gang, kidnapping, and unlawful confinement, as well as conspiracy. They are placed in provisional detention, while the other two are indicted for conspiracy with judicial supervision. The investigation, which has mobilized forty officers, is ongoing.
