Disney+ Launches Thriller Set in the Amazon

Disney+ presents a new thriller film that follows Patrícia Trindade, a former police officer who confronts an organized crime gang to rescue her daughter Luiza, who disappears during a humanitarian mission in Alto Tapajós. Luiza works as a doctor for an NGO that assists indigenous communities in the Amazon. The situation complicates when a group of illegal miners kidnaps Luiza, forcing Patrícia to leave her hidden life and embark on a desperate search in the Amazon jungle. Throughout her mission, Patrícia faces dangers and armed gangs in a hostile environment filled with illegal activities.
