Damage from Attacks on Wildberries Reaches 480 Billion Rubles

The damage from attacks on Wildberries warehouses continues to grow. As a result of strikes by Ukrainian drones, 12 mega-hubs have burned down, with the value of destroyed goods amounting to 480 billion rubles. The company's direct losses have reached 100-200 billion rubles. These losses are comparable to the annual budgets of the Krasnoyarsk Territory (527 billion rubles) and the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug (476 billion rubles), exceeding the annual budget of the Irkutsk Region (303 billion rubles) by 1.6 times. According to experts, the marketplace, with an annual revenue of 6 trillion rubles, has lost a third of its warehouse capacity. Analyst Sergey Semko noted that Wildberries is nearly out of large warehouses, and compositions are being destroyed daily. The Russian government is preparing support measures for sellers, including credit holidays and tax breaks, but direct payments are not planned. Wildberries may require funding of up to 1.3 trillion rubles to restore its business model.
