Completion of the 51st SUN Buyback and Burn, Over 678 Million Tokens Destroyed
On July 25, the 51st buyback and burn of SUN tokens was successfully completed, with a total of over 678 million tokens (678,547,188.32 tokens) destroyed. Since its launch in December 2021, the deflationary effect has continued to manifest. The three major business lines of SunSwap V2, SunPump, and SunX contributed approximately 382 million, 286 million, and 1.07 million tokens, respectively, supporting the long-term burn mechanism. This period saw the destruction of 9,025,027.40 tokens, all of which have been transferred to a black hole address for permanent storage. This mechanism continues to reduce the circulating supply in the market, further enhancing the scarcity of SUN tokens and laying the foundation for the long-term healthy development of the token's economic model. The SUN team will continue to advance the buyback and burn strategy, enhancing ecological value and rewarding the trust and support of the community.
