Combat Operations Map in Ukraine as of July 28, 2026

The 1616th day of the war in Ukraine continues. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 227 combat clashes were recorded over the past day. The enemy launched one missile strike, used two missiles, conducted 83 airstrikes, and dropped 269 guided bombs. They also deployed 10,600 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,240 shellings of populated areas and positions of Ukrainian troops. The missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces hit six UAV control points, 10 areas of troop concentration, and one command point of the Russian invaders. In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, there were seven combat clashes, and the aggressor conducted 77 shellings. In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian units 10 times. In the Kupiansk direction, there were six enemy attacks. In the Lyman direction, the enemy attempted to break through the defense 16 times. In the Sloviansk direction, there were 19 attacks in the areas of Kryvaya Luka and Zakotnoye. In the Kramatorsk direction, there were four attacks towards Malinovka. In the Konstantinovka direction, there were 27 attacks in the areas of Konstantinovka and Ilyinovka. In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 34 assault actions. In the Alexandrovsk direction, there were two attacks towards Aleksandrovgrad. In the Hulyaipole direction, there were 11 attacks. In the Orikhiv direction, one attempt by the enemy was stopped. No offensive actions were conducted in the Dnipro direction. In the Volyn and Polissya directions, no signs of the formation of offensive groups were detected.
