AI Continues to See Turmoil in Leadership, Engineer Involved in Building Grok.com and API Announces Departure

According to 1M AI News monitoring, xAI team member Jaime Alonso has announced his departure from X, stating that today is his last day at xAI. In a tweet, he mentioned his involvement in building xAI's API, Grok.com, and several interim products, giving special thanks to co-founder Toby Pohlen for leading the London team.
Pohlen himself had announced his departure from xAI on February 27. As one of xAI's 12 founding members, he had overseen the London team and contributed to the development of the first version of Grok. He replied to Jaime's farewell tweet saying, "Grok quite literally wouldn't exist without you."
