Aave will eliminate 50 low adoption asset reserves and shut down deployments on Sonic, Scroll, zkSync, Metis, Soneium, and Aptos, affecting 25 asset reserves. Additionally, 21 expired Pendle PT tokens will also be eliminated to support new expiration products. These changes involve a supply of $98.1 million and $15.6 million in debt, aimed at reducing Aave's economic and technical risk exposure. Aave will continue to conduct ongoing risk assessments on all assets in all deployments.
