American funds based on Ethereum ended August with a series of 10 sessions of positive inflows, resulting in $1.51 billion in ETF deposits between August 17 and 28. Currently, 35% of the total ETH supply, or 42.7 million ETH, is in staking, which limits the current supply of the cryptocurrency on the market. In comparison to BTC ETFs, which recorded a 2.5% increase from their initial value, ETH ETFs rose by 6.6%. Investors are considering Bitmine's strategy, which may contemplate selling part of the cryptocurrency after reaching 5% of the total ETH supply. Tom Lee from Bitmine stated that the company does not plan to sell its main ETH pool, and the rewards from staking will cover current expenses.
